This is an interesting crab cake recipe from Maine in New England, and you will enjoy


1 pound crabmeat flaked and picked over

1/2 cup dry bread crumbs

1 egg lightly beaten

1 tablespoon mayonnaise Use a low fat type

1 teaspoon prepared Dijon-style mustard

1 teaspoon Worcestershire Sauce Lea and Perrins

1 tablespoon Old Bay Seasoning

2 tablespoons butter Unsalted


Step One Place the bread crumbs and the crab meat into a large bowl and combine well.

Step Two Add in the egg, mayonnaise, mustard, Worcestershire Sauce and the Old Bay Seasoning and combine the ingredients well

Step Three Add in the crab meat and bread crumb mix and gently fold in.

Step Four Divide the mixture into eight portions and make 8 crab cake patties.

Step Five Heat the butter in a heavy skillet or frypan over a medium heat.

Step Six sauté the crab cakes on each side for around 3-4 minutes until golden brown. ALL YOU NEED TO KNOW ABOUT THE BEST RECIPE CRAB CAKE


1 pound crabmeat flaked and picked over

4 slices whole wheat bread crusts removed and made into bread crumbs

1/4 cup fresh parsley minced

1/4 cup mayonnaise use a light or low fat type

2 tablespoons prepared mustard Dijon works best

1/4 teaspoon salt

1/8 teaspoon Tabasco Sauce


Step One Place all the ingredients in a large bowl and combine well

Step Two Divide the mixture into 8 portions and then shape each into crab cake patties.

Step Three Preheat the oven to 350 degrees

Step Four Place the crab cake patties onto a lightly greased baking sheet. Bake for around 15 minutes.

Step Five Turn the crab cakes over and bake for a further 10 minutes until golden brown



1 pound backfin crab meat flaked and picked over

1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce

2 tablespoons mayonnaise Low fat style

1 egg lightly beaten

1/4 cup Soda or Saltine Crackers crushed

1 clove garlic crushed

1 pinch cayenne pepper


Step One Place all the ingredients into a large bowl and combine well

Step Two Divide the mixture and form into small crab cake patties .

Step Three Sautee the crab cakes in butter until golden brown on each side.
