Easy Crab Bisque



THE BEST EASY CRAB BISQUE RECIPE

INGREDIENTS

6 oz crabmeat canned or fresh, drained, flaked and picked over to remove shell and cartilage

1 can condensed cream of mushroom soup

1 can condensed cream of asparagus soup

2 3/4 cups milk

1 cup half-and-half

3 tablespoons dry sherry

Black pepper

METHOD

Step One Place the asparagus soup, the mushroom soup, the half-and-half and the milk into a saucepan and gently heat.

Step Two Bring slowly to the boil and stir continuously

Step Three Add the crabmeat and dry sherry, stir in and heat the crab meat through

Step Four Serve in ramekins or soup bowls.

Step Five Garnish with chopped cilantro, parsley or chives

Step Six Season with fresh ground black pepper to taste

ANOTHER EASY CRAB-BISQUE RECIPE

INGREDIENTS

1 can cream of tomato bisque soup Campbell's is good

1 can consomme Campbell's is good

1 can whole green pea soup Campbell's is good

1/2 cup dry sherry

1 can flaked crab meat canned or fresh

1 cup cream

METHOD

Step One Combine the three soups in a saucepan and heat gently

Step Two Blend the sherry and cream in a blender and then add into the soup mixture.

Step Three Gently heat until nearly boiling, and stir frequently.

Step Four Finally add in the crab meat, mix through well and serve.
