INGREDIENTS

1 lb lump crab meat

1 egg lightly beaten

2 tablespoon mayonnaise

1/4 teaspoon Old Bay Seasoning

1/2 teaspoon dry mustard

6 to 8 crackers Soda or Saltine Crackers crushed

1/2 teaspoon celery salt

1/4 teaspoon salt

1 1/2 tablespoon butter

1 1/2 teaspoon lemon juice freshly squeezed

1 tablespoon parsley finely chopped

METHOD

Step One Melt the butter and put aside

Step Two Place the crab meat in a large bowl and then add the crumbled crackers. Lightly sprinkle the melted butter over the crab meat and crackers mixture.

Step Three Lightly beat the egg in another bowl and then add in all the other ingredients and mix well

Step Four Add in the crab meat and fold into the mixture

Step Five Make crab cakes patties from the mixture and then add a spot of butter to each cake

Step Six Place in the broiler and grill for around 15 minutes. Serve and enjoy your broiled crab cakes MORE OF THE BEST BROILED CRAB CAKES

INGREDIENTS Serves 4

12 oz. can lump crab meat

1/3 cup onion minced

1/4 cup green pepper minced

1 tablespoon parsley finely chopped

1/8 teaspoon Old Bay Seasoning

1 teaspoon baking powder

1 teaspoon Dijon mustard

1 teaspoon lemon juice freshly squeezed

1 egg lightly beaten

1/2 cup mayonnaise

1/2 cup seasoned bread crumbs

METHOD

Step One Put the can of crab meat into a large bowl

Step Two Add in the onion, green pepper, parsley, Old Bay seasoning and the baking powder and mix well.

Step Three Add in the mayonnaise, mustard, lemon juice, egg and bread crumbs

Step Four Form the mixture into patties and place them onto a greased broiling pan.

Step Five Broil the patties for 3 - 5 minutes on each side until they are golden brown. Serve and enjoy your great broiled crab cakes
